Tim Hunt

Communications, Marketing

Tim shouts about the work we do. Whether writing blogs or crafting social media posts, he helps us spread the word about our mission, values and technical expertise.

He’s focused on getting things done and helping get the most possible value out of all the amazing work that our co-op members do every day.

He’s an Agile Collective fanboy and, by his own admission, enjoys working with us a little bit too much.

Life before Agile Collective

Tim’s been a magazine editor, website manager, researcher, cooperative director, and communications lead, and that was just for one organisation (Ethical Consumer Research Association)!

He’s also worked with Red Pepper magazine, New Internationalist magazine, and Co-operative News and co-founded Manchester Mule (not the Meteor).

He remains one half of Data Content Reach, a digital communications cooperative he started alongside the brilliant Michael.

In other lives, he’s been a media campaigner, charity trustee, community activist, punk drummer, vegan chef (he admits that he mainly made fake-cheese toasties), and a full-time dad.

When not at work

Outside work, Tim looks after kids, coaches under 11s football, runs a community garden and is a fair-weather cyclist.

He goes to yoga (when his knees let him) and the gym when he can, and he loves a good gong bath (look it up).

He’s also learning to surf and longs to live by the sea. One day Tim, keep dreaming.
